# All's Well: uptime monitoring and status pages

All's Well is an uptime monitoring service. It checks your websites, APIs, SSL certificates, domains, ports and cron jobs on a schedule, alerts you by email, Slack, Discord, Telegram or webhook when something fails, and publishes status pages that keep your customers informed. Plans start free, and paid plans run from $5 to $20 a month.

Monitor 75 endpoints with 30-second checks for $10 a month. UptimeRobot charges $46 a month for its 30-second plan. Checks run from London, and response times are measured from there.

## What All's Well monitors

- **Website and API monitoring.** HTTP and HTTPS checks every 30 seconds to every 5 minutes, depending on plan. Each check records the status code and response time, and keyword checks alert you when a page loses the text it should contain.
- **SSL and domain expiry.** Certificates are checked for expiry, with warnings 30, 14 and 7 days out, and domain registrations are watched so a missed renewal does not take your site offline.
- **Ports, ping and heartbeats.** TCP port checks for databases and mail servers, ICMP ping for hosts, and heartbeat URLs for cron jobs and backups that should report in on schedule.
- **Server agent.** A small script reports disk usage from your Linux servers and forecasts when a disk will fill. On Pro and Business it also checks installed packages against the OSV vulnerability database.
- **Alerts where you work.** Email, Slack, Discord, Telegram and webhooks. Incidents open and resolve automatically, and maintenance windows pause checks and alerts during planned work.
- **Public status pages.** Live status, 90 days of uptime and incident history for your customers. Visitors can subscribe to email updates, and each page can be served from your own domain.
- **Teams.** Invite teammates as admins or read-only viewers, protect accounts with two-factor authentication, and get a weekly uptime digest on Pro and Business.
- **API, MCP and badges.** A REST API and an MCP server let scripts and AI assistants manage your monitors, and SVG uptime badges drop into a README or website.
- **Import from UptimeRobot.** Paste a read-only UptimeRobot API key and your HTTP, keyword, ping, port and heartbeat monitors come across with their check intervals.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is All's Well?

All's Well is an uptime monitoring service. It checks your websites, APIs, SSL certificates, domains, ports and cron jobs on a schedule, alerts you by email, Slack, Discord, Telegram or webhook when something fails, and publishes status pages that keep your customers informed. Plans start free, and paid plans run from $5 to $20 a month.

### Is there a free uptime monitoring plan?

Yes. The Free plan monitors 5 endpoints with 5-minute checks, keeps 3 days of history and includes a public status page. It needs no credit card. Starter adds 20 monitors and 1-minute checks for $5 a month.

### How often does All's Well check my site?

Pro and Business check every 30 seconds, Starter every minute and Free every 5 minutes. Each check records the status code and response time, and an incident opens automatically when a check fails.

### Where do checks run from?

Checks run from London, and response times are measured from there. Heartbeat monitors work the other way round: your cron job or script calls its ping URL, and you are alerted if the call does not arrive on time.

### What can All's Well monitor?

Websites and APIs over HTTP or HTTPS, including keyword checks, plus TCP ports, ICMP ping, SSL certificate and domain expiry, and cron jobs through heartbeat URLs. An optional agent reports Linux server disk usage and, on Pro and Business, scans installed packages for known vulnerabilities.

### How do downtime alerts work?

When a monitor goes down, All's Well opens an incident and alerts the contacts attached to that monitor by email, Slack, Discord, Telegram or webhook. It alerts again when the monitor recovers. Maintenance windows pause checks and alerts during planned work.

### Can I share status with my customers?

Yes. Every plan includes at least one public status page showing live status, 90 days of uptime and incident history. Visitors can subscribe to email updates without an account, and you can serve the page from your own domain, such as status.example.com.

### How do I switch from UptimeRobot?

Paste a read-only UptimeRobot API key into the importer on the Monitors page. It copies HTTP, keyword, ping, port and heartbeat monitors with their intervals, keeps paused monitors paused and skips ones you already have. Alert contacts are not imported, so attach yours afterwards.

### Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. There are no contracts or cancellation fees. Change plan or cancel from the billing page whenever you like; billing runs through Stripe, and the Free plan stays available if you step down.
