Your WordPress sites, plainly reported.
The free All's Well plugin reports what is happening inside each WordPress site: versions, pending updates, risky settings and administrators. Uptime and SSL checks watch the same sites from outside, so one dashboard shows which client site is down, behind on updates or has a new administrator.
What the plugin reports
Once an hour, and whenever plugins, themes or administrators change. Nothing is sent until you connect the site.
Versions
WordPress, PHP and database versions, so you can see which sites are behind.
Plugins and themes
Every installed plugin and theme, with the updates waiting for each, and which plugins update themselves.
Risky settings
Debug output shown to visitors, the theme and plugin file editor left on, open registration that hands out an administrator or editor role, and security updates switched off.
Administrators
Who can sign in as an administrator. Email addresses are never sent, and logins that are email addresses are masked.
Backups
The time of the last successful backup, when UpdraftPlus or BackWPup is active.
What it alerts you about
- A new administrator appears on a site.
- A setting becomes risky, such as debug output shown to visitors.
- A site stops reporting: after three missed hourly reports, or as soon as the plugin is deactivated or removed, the site goes down and an incident opens.
Alerts go to the site's contacts by email, Slack, Discord, Telegram or webhook.

Looking after many sites
Connecting a whole client list? Create your team's enrolment key on the Sites page, then set it as the ALLS_WELL_KEY constant in each site's wp-config.php, or run wp alls-well connect from a deploy script. Each site registers itself on its next page load, up to your plan's allowance of sites. The key can only add sites, so a leaked one cannot read anything.
Uptime from outside
The plugin reports from inside WordPress once an hour, so it is not an uptime check. For an alert within minutes when a site stops answering, add an HTTP or keyword monitor for its home page and let All's Well watch the SSL certificate too. Pro and Business check every 30 seconds, Starter every minute and Free every 5 minutes.
Questions about the plugin
Is the All's Well WordPress plugin free?
Yes. The plugin is free and open source (GPLv2 or later), installs from WordPress.org and works on every All's Well plan, including Free. It reports to your team in All's Well, so you need an account: clicking Connect lets you create one, with no credit card.
What does the plugin send to All's Well?
Once an hour, and whenever plugins, themes or administrators change: WordPress, PHP and database versions, installed plugins and themes with their pending updates, a set of security settings, administrator logins and the time of the last backup. Administrator email addresses are never sent. Nothing is sent until you connect the site.
Does the plugin check that my site is up?
Not on its own. If a site misses three hourly reports in a row, All's Well marks it down and alerts you, but an uptime monitor on the home page notices within minutes. Pro and Business check every 30 seconds, Starter every minute and Free every 5 minutes.
How many WordPress sites can I connect?
Each plan includes its own allowance of connected sites, separate from monitors: 3 on Free, 10 on Starter, 30 on Pro and 100 on Business. Reconnecting a site you already have never counts against it. Uptime, keyword and SSL monitors you add for a site use your plan's monitors.
How do I connect many client sites?
Use your team's enrolment key from the Sites page: set it as the ALLS_WELL_KEY constant in wp-config.php, run wp alls-well connect, or paste it into the plugin's settings. Each site registers itself, and you choose the alert contacts for every site the key adds.
Which WordPress and PHP versions does it support?
WordPress 5.6 or later and PHP 7.2 or later. On a multisite network the main site connects and reports. On WordPress 6.9 and later reports run through Action Scheduler, and through WP-Cron before that.
Every WordPress site, one dashboard.
Install the free plugin, click Connect, and the site reports in a minute. No credit card, no contracts.
